Colonial house roça Abade is located 6 km from the main town Santo Antonio (20 min. by car), and 12 km from the airport (35 min. by car). On your arrival the journey from the airport to the Roça Abade on the eastern side of the island follows the coast past a typical fishing village with its dugout canoes and hundreds of drying flying fish. From Roça Abade you will enjoy a spectacular view of the magnificent island of Boné-de-Joquei (the Jockey's Cap) which rises to a height of 305 meters out of the ocean, a couple of kilometers off the coast, as well as the peaks of the Two Brothers.
