TREK TO LAGOA AMELIA

Enjoy 3 hours hiking through the rainforest, in the Obô Natural Park. We depart from your hotel by a 4WD vehicle until the Botanic garden in Bom Sucesso (1.115m asl). After a small visit to the garden and a litle preparation, we start hiking to Lagoa Amelia.

The lake Amelia is an old crater full of rain water that was gathered over time and is covered with a sort of a “carpet” of floating vegetation. This tour is also an oportunity for some bird watching.
