A turtle nesting point in Sao Tome island
The Jalé Ecolodge is situated on the southern coast of Sao Tome island at (Praia Jale) about 90 km from Sao Tome city. Here the marine turtle protective program is highly and promoted.
You can combine your stay here with trekking in the zone, enjoy the desert beach or else enjoy the oportunity for turtle watching. Giant turtles come to deposit here their eggs in the sand. You can arrange with the guard of the resort to wake you up in the night in case it appears some turtle.
